B & B Mfg. and Specialty Co. was started in the mid 1970’s and incorporated in the state of Mississippi in 1982.  We started out making motorcycle trailers and small utility trailers some of which are still in service.  Being located in Chickasaw County in the heart of the furniture industry in Mississippi, we started doing repair work on their equipment.  When we could not get parts to repair a cushion stuffing machine, we designed and built a new, sturdier and more dependable cushion stuffing machine using parts easily to obtain and made in the USA.

We have been making our cushion stuffing machine, updating as necessary since 1983.  We have repaired and have made new custom designed equipment including chop saws, band saws, poly slitters, button presses, frame presses, sewing machine table, dipping vats, buggies, other specialty items along with a horizontal positioner that handles the stacks of recliner mechanisms.  Having worked in manufacturing before staring our own business and having a degree in industrial technology gives us a unique perspective on how machinery needs to work. 

Because we are also a metal fabricating shop, we have made a wide variety of custom designed items to meet the customer’s needs including both charcoal and gas BBQ cookers, smokers, large fish cookers, lighted Christmas decorations, rod iron fences and we still make custom utility trailers.  We also do farm machinery repair work and have done custom designed spray rigs to meet an individual’s special needs.
